Can I return my product

We guarantee all of our products as genuine and authentic. We stand behind that guarantee so long as our products are returned within 7 business days, in original condition. You, the customer, are responsible for all shipping costs. Please contact us by email at -  info@theshungiteexperience.com.au - before returns can be arranged.

We will process a refund once we receive the items and have confirmed that they are still in their original condition.

If items are broken or damaged by you, it is not covered by us. Please be aware that if you drop or hit your item it is not our responsibility to replace them. All care should be taken as Shungite is like most other crystals and is easily broken.

Shipping

We use Australia Post for all of our orders. If your order is valued at more than $100 we suggest taking out insurance and or Signature on Delivery - with Australia Post, please choose this option at checkout.

All of our shipping comes with Tracking which you will receive from Australia Post.

Generally, we dispatch the same or next business day and your order will be delivered to you within 5 - 7 business days. This may vary if you are in an outer area of Australia.

At this time orders can take longer to receive due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Please be a little patient as we are all trying our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated!

Damaged items

We take packaging very seriously and make sure that everything we dispatch has the best possible protection. However, once it has been handed to Australia Post we are no longer liable for any damage that may occur. Australia Post may allow us to make a claim on behalf of our customers but it is up to you, as a customer, to make the first report to them and then follow their procedure if in the unlikely event a problem occurs. Please call 137678 to start the enquiry. We suggest contacting us firstly if you open your package and it has been damaged and we will then advise you of the steps needed to make a claim with Australia Post. All damaged items should be photographed and all packaging must be kept for a claim to be lodged.   All Australia Post shipping comes with free $100 insurance. We suggest taking out the extra Insurance option at Checkout to help with this if your items are over $100. We dispatch hundreds of orders a week and find very few problems occur.

How to test your Shungite

How to test if your Shungite is authentic, you can do a very basic test. The molecular structure of Shungite is such that it conducts electricity. So if a current runs through it, you can tell that it is true Shungite, and not a piece of coal. On polished and rounded pieces it sometimes may be harder to get a positive current or it may be weaker but it will eventually give you an indication. The reason for this is, that when the pieces are polished a film of polishing materials can be left on the Shungite- this makes it harder to test a current through.

How are my credit card details stored?

The Shungite Experience uses Stripe credit card payment gateway, which is a fully PCIDSS Compliant. All credit cards are handled by Stripe using their hosted forms, which means that The Shungite Experience never see nor do we store any credit cards. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe's internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static whitelist.
