Shungite has been studied by the Scientific community intensely and has been deemed completely safe for all human, animal and plant life.

Shungite formed over 2 billion years ago, and during that time, other minerals and crystals formed and grew alongside it. The main variations usually present in Shungite are Pyrite and Quartz. When you see these, it confirms that your Shungite is genuine. These variations are naturally occurring and not flaws. Additionally, there are colour variations, and some Shungite will have fissures or pits that form during its natural growth.

All Shungite products are natural and may contain inclusions, colour variations, and streaks of pyrite/quartz (not scratches as mentioned above). It is important to note that unpolished and engraved items will prominently display these veins, which are not considered faults or scratches. There is some scientific research to suggest that Shungite lessens harmful EMF radiation. Shungite appears to transform harmful EMFs into waveforms that are more biologically compatible with our human form. It does this not by eliminating or blocking these but by changing the properties of the harmful radiation. Shungite changes the “quality of the energies” not the “quantity of them” thereby allowing us to use these without being negatively influenced by them. So, to be completely clear – if you are using a meter to test your Shungite – it won’t necessarily show a huge reduction in the reading, but it will transform these EMFs into a less harmful emanation.

We have drawn up a quick plan to give you an idea of where to start working with Shungite in your home. This is a basic idea and depends on many different things, such as the size of your home, its proximity to Mobile Towers and the amount of EMF producing equipment you use. The quick answer is nothing! The only difference is in appearance. You will see much more Pyrite and Quartz in unpolished Shungite, and it is a little dusty when you first receive it, but there is no difference in how it balances our biofield.

This is Shungite dust and is a by-product of the manufacturing process. It is perfectly natural and is easy to clean with a damp cloth. You will see more of it on an unpolished piece than a polished piece. It will also be present in some bracelets as they are drilled, and the dust can collect in the holes. It will clear after a few days of wearing it.

We will process a refund (less our fees and shipping costs) once we receive the items and confirm that they are still in their original, as-new condition. We do not charge a restocking fee.

You should photograph all damaged items and keep all packaging for a claim to be lodged. All Australia Post shipping comes with free $100 insurance. We strongly suggest taking out the extra Insurance option at Checkout to help with this if your items are over $100. We dispatch hundreds of orders a week and find very few problems occur. In the unlikely event your goods arrive damaged, please email us immediately upon unpacking the items with photos of any damaged packaging and or items at – info@theshungiteexperience.com.au

Delivery

Here at The Shungite Experience, we aim to ensure you receive your order, delivered as securely and efficiently as is possible.

To help us achieve this, please make sure that we have your correct delivery address. For important delivery instructions i.e. you can’t receive your package in person, instructions to leave the box in a secure and safe place, or instructions to leave with a preferable neighbour, please make sure to make this clear on the order page so our team can inform our courier partner.

Please note that you are responsible for providing us with clear, appropriate and reasonable instructions to deliver your order. We will only accept changes to a delivery address after the order is placed – within 1 hour, if changes need to be made you will be required to EMAIL us within that hour to change the address.

In the interest of reducing unnecessary packaging, you may notice any multiple orders sharing the same delivery address shall be condensed into one box where possible.

If ever your delivery is missing or stolen, please contact us at info@theshungiteexperience.com.au immediately. We will coordinate with our partner courier to request further delivery confirmation information. We do not accept liability for any lost or stolen goods however at our discretion we may offer a compensation of some sort.

We are not responsible for any adverse weather, traffic, or third-party negligence, and any delay these may cause for your order. 

We use Australia Post for all of our domestic and international shipping. If your order is valued at over $100, we suggest taking out insurance and/or Signature on Delivery.

Please choose this option at checkout. We cannot replace or refund your order unless you choose the extra cover option at. The option needs to cover your order costs. We do not receive any refunds from Australia Post unless the Customer chooses this option. 

All of our shipping comes with tracking, which you will receive from both us and Australia Post upon order completion.

Generally, we dispatch the same or next business day, and your order will be delivered as quickly as possible. This may vary if you are in an outer area of Australia and at busy times such as Christmas. We are happy to ship anywhere in the world.
