Succinic Acid itself is considered safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because it “occurs widely as a natural constituent of the plants and animals which are commonly used for human food.” In addition, Succinic Acid received attention and testing from the FDA since it’s often added to ingestible products.
Amber enthusiasts will point to how, in 1886, Nobel-prize winner Robert Koch discovered that a derivative of Amber had “a positive influence on the body.” (Technically, he found an acid via his bodily secretions that happen to be in Amber, but the story remains true-Ish.) Likewise, the 1930s and 1940s saw that the same Acid was critical to how the body functioned.
A theory is based on scientific findings showing that Amber is electromagnetically alive and produces specific amounts of natural organic energy.
Antispasmodic, soothing and analgesic: In Asian countries, “amber syrup”, a mixture of succinic Acid and opium, was used as soothing and antispasmodic. There is a scientific explanation for that, and it comes from the chemical properties of the resin. When formed, the resin acts as a natural embalming agent with drying and antimicrobial properties.
Amber oil permeates the skin very quickly, penetrating deep into the tissue and exerting a positive influence. It improves blood circulation and relieves muscle pain.
With up to 8% Succinic Acid, Amber is an excellent natural antibiotic and painkiller that can stimulate and boost the immune system. It provides healing and promotes tissue revitalisation by accelerating the natural healing process. Succinic Acid is also suitable for reducing inflammation, is excellent for acne, and doesn’t dry out the skin. Good for preventing and reducing scar tissue, it can also be used as an antibiotic.
