As a natural product, Shungite contains variations in colour, veining, and shading. It is common for Shungite to have inclusions, pits, or fissures due to its geological formation. Some customers may think these are scratches, but this is not the case. These markings are not scratches or product faults but a sign of authenticity. Pyrite veins run through Shungite, and when it is polished, you can see them. This is normal.
