We started importing these super large pieces of Elite Shungite way back in 2018! We were the first to have them in Australia- way before other new Australian shops had even started. We have a trusted network of suppliers who have been selling to us since 2013 and we know all of our Shungite is genuine. We’ve even travelled to meet our suppliers in Europe. We believe we have the largest choice in Collectors Pieces of Elite Shungite with many more pieces coming onto the website in the coming weeks. It has taken many, many years of hard work and risk to bring you the best Shungite we can find but we are so happy we have persevered and can honestly say we are the biggest retailer of Elite Shungite Collectors Pieces in Australia!

These pieces are known as Collector’s pieces as people are starting to collect them because they won’t be available easily in the future. They are a great investment if you collect Crystals. We don’t see these as ” Museum” pieces as there aren’t any museums in the world displaying them at this time. These terms are purely to describe the rarity and value of such Crystals.

Elite or Noble Shungite is rare and accounts for about 1% of all Shungite mined. Elite is mined by hand because it is so easily breakable, hence its cost is much higher. Of all Shungite, Elite contains the highest concentration of Fullerenes, it also contains approximately 97% Carbon. Fullerenes are what set  Shungite apart from other stones and crystals. These hollow carbon-based molecules have been studied by science and have shown remarkable properties. Most Elite pieces are small or medium in size, simply because it is so easy to crack and very hard not to break when it is mined.

When you see super large pieces of Elite, as in over 100 grams, you know that they are very special and unique. We have been collecting these amazing pieces for many years and adding them to our Website from time to time. We like to offer unique and rare Shungite so our customers know where to look for those special pieces! We classify these huge pieces of Elite Shungite as ” Collectors Pieces” as we feel that in the future they will definitely be collected and held in high esteem. Elite Shungite is really running out and will at some stage in the not too distant future become extinct.
